x-country skiing.

Hey girrrrrrrrrl!

So I've just come back from 5 intense days of X-Country Skiing for my PE assessment. My gosh it was so hard! We stayed in this wee hut about 4km away from the main lodge, and had to ski in and out every day. Going back to the hut was fun because it was downhill all the way, but going to the lodge was a killer. Especially when we had to carry our damn packs back out! Farrrrrr out my shoulders and arms felt like they were going to fall off!

We had to do a 3km race, and the first time I failed by 2 seconds. Talk about gutted! But the second time I knocked 2 mins off my time. Bingo! I only JUST passed the technique part aswell. It was just so damn difficult for me. Could not for the life of me get the hang of it! Ohwell, it's over now. :)

I do miss my PE class though, they are the best group of people I have ever gone away with. We all just seemed to get on sooo so well! No-one got annoyed with each other, there was no bitchiness, the teachers hung out with us too and played lots of games like Mafia, and Weed and Thumpers! Oh and can't forget Cabbage Cabbage ;)

The only real bad thing that happened was that I managed to pull my groin muscles once I had come back. Talk about bad timing! Especially since I have aerobics regionals in 2 days! And I'm pretty sure the groin muscle is the most important for doing splits etc... Well we'll just have to see how it all turns out!

K. Bye.
